What is your tech origin story?
I had no intention of pursuing a career in technology. I have an undergraduate degree in Finance and a Master of Science in Accounting & Finance. Furthermore, I come from a progressive 13-year career in Audit and Corporate Finance teams. All along the way, I dabbled in the realm of finance systems and process improvement. I used Visual Basic Analysis (VBA) to streamline data aggregation in Excel. I attended Oracle University for training as an administrator for Hyperion. Then, I went to on to lead an implementation of Anaplan. Finally, Discover was building its Robotic Process Automation (RPA) program by upscaling people from the business on the software. I jumped at the chance to learn something new and have been hooked ever since.
