Improving data quality systems and processes

Vaibhav Singh's tech origin story starts where many of us spend our days: Looking at PowerPoint. In middle school, Vaibhav's computer teacher introduced their class to PowerPoint, and Vaibhav was immediately fascinated by its potential. He used PowerPoint to create an engaging slide show displaying chemical reactions between two substances, complete with sound effects—and the rest is history.

Now Vaibhav uses his love of technology to ideate, implement, and maintain data quality products at Discover with a diverse range of tools including AWS, Python, SQL, Ab Initio, OpenShift, and Tableau. The abundance of available options for building innovative solutions allows him to continuously challenge his problem-solving skills, which makes Vaibhav's job exciting. His passion for improving the data quality system and processes across the organization.

Vaibhav especially appreciates how Discover prioritizes the growth and development of its employees, offering opportunities for skill building and career advancement. "Discover encourages a work-life balance, creating a supportive and inclusive environment. The company is unique because of its focus on innovation, collaboration, freedom to try out tools and technologies to solve business problems, and our company values," says Vaibhav.
