Driving digital transformation across the tech stack
Maanasa works within Business Technology at Discover® on a Digital Payments catalyst team. Maanasa's team is building a modern platform that helps transform the application environment from its current form into something more agile, automated, innovative, and highly available. Maanasa has built skills across the tech stack, including Kafka, Spring Boot, OpenShift, Kubernetes and CI/CD automation using Jenkins.
Apart from the ever-changing and dynamic trends, Maanasa says the exciting most aspect of the role is the hidden potential to do more amazing things easily.
"My team's camaraderie and encouragement from leadership also led me to run the Business Technology Internship program," Maanasa says. "At the end of the 2022 program, all four interns accepted full-time job offers after graduation. The Discover engineering culture encourages collaboration, ensures a sense of ownership, inspires creativity, and provides a positive workspace to all engineers interweaving strong Discover values into everyday activities."
