Chicago's thriving Fintech industry has strong ties among innovators and venture members. However, this energy often neglects the South side. In Chi Tech Collective's Takeoff series, we spotlight Fintech's support for small businesses. Through enjoyable interactions, Takeoff: Build in Fintech fosters diverse community-building. Despite Chicago's diversity, its opportunities tend to stay segregated. Our event aims to bridge this gap by facilitating connections across all backgrounds for widespread opportunities.
Takeoff: Build in Fintech will be open to everyone but targeted at individuals who are underrepresented in tech and Venture capital (VC). We invite local Fintech workforce candidates, technologists of color, aspiring fintech founders, and small business owners implementing alternative payment processing methods.
During this event you will:
